would not want to get stuck out there lol

@jade4462 Or just suck it up and keep takin' the train just like everyone else. ;)

It takes an hour and a half to get from beach 67 street to midtown manhattan. Too long. The MTA should have express service from the Rockaways to Manhattan.

Why does the signal show red then at the last moment change in parts of the line? I don't know shit about trains btw.

is that an abandoned ROW to the left of the tracks at the beginning? why does MTA still use 1940's block signals lol. i havent seen a block signal on SEPTA in like 10yrs. it would reduce travel time if they would upgrade the signals. i mean they wouldnt have to stop at every single waiting for it to turn green

I think you're confusing Penn Central with the Pennsylvania Railroad. bobwiland is right about the Far Rockaway Branch, but it was actullay the LIRR that belonged to the Pennsylvania Railroad during the first decades of the 20th Century.

I actually thought this was going to be old footage of the LIRR Rockaway Beach Branch until I clicked on it.

the train was actually moving fast but since the guy's cam was zoomed in, it looks like it was going slow.
