Biggest fire I've ever seen in person. East of the Garden City & Cambie intersection. Remy Condo's (under construction and due to open shortly) burned to the ground.
Firefighters were helpless... building was destroyed in 10 minutes. Could hear the crackling and destruction from my balcony (1.3 km away).
At 11:45pm... properties went pitch black on the East side of Garden City (power out).
People truly do flock to fire, as they were running outta my building and over to the site to get a look. Geeezuss.
