Story: Dan has always wished that he could be in the 'In Crowd' and secretly wants to get in. He views the lives of Upper East Side kids like Serena, Nate, Chuck, and Blair and he realizes how it is the opposite of perfect. In the end he realizes that he has the perfect life with his dad, Jenny, and Vanessa.

the in crowd is filled with snooty boring idiots, dan is much much more and its sad that the tv series decided to ruin his original character for a cheap plotline which led ...nowhere.

i loved dan in the books, they shouldnt have messed him up for the sake of a cheap plotline. The original gossip girl still reigns supreme
