This is complicated, and I no doubt will display some measure of ignorance by explaining it, but nonetheless my explanation will be closer to the truth than anything one gets from television.
The State of Israel has been doing some of the horrible things that states tend to do. Israel has been doing so much of these sorts of things that people all over the world are becoming very pissed. But lets come back to that after addressing the racial issue...
There is a difference between a nation and a state. There is a difference between an Israeli and an Israelite. "Jew," "Hebrew," "Semite," all mean different things, even though they are often treated as synonymous. The distinctions are complex, but they are worth understanding.
The word "Jewish" does not refer to any single race. Europeans know the history better than Americans. What they understand is that the Caucasoid people who refer to themselves as Jewish are Eastern Europeans whose ancestors were long ago forced by their government to take on the Jewish religion. Those Eastern Europeans did as they were told, and then, through the passing centuries, they more or less came to assume that because they were sincere, dedicated, committed Jews, that they must be the People of the Book. Cultures do that sort of thing. For example, Gypsies get their name from the word Egypt, but they are not of Egyptian stock. They are Indo-Europeans. The Egyptian connection comes from their traditional practice of fortune telling. Europeans associated all magical practices with Egyptian origins, so "Gypsies must be from Egypt." Of course they're not really. I've heard talk show host Larry King saying that "Jews are a white race." What King means by that is he's from a family of European Jews. He cannot reliably trace his lineage back to the Levant(the geographical region in which the Bible stories take place), and he does not himself practice the Jewish spiritual tradition, so one might reasonably ask, In what way is he a Jew? Aside from occasionally wearing a yamaka, there is nothing Jewish about his lifestyle. His forebears were Jewish by religion. He is himself basically an atheist of European extraction. I assume he will nonetheless insist that he is Jewish. That's okay. He can call himself anything he wants.
Eastern European Jews, from the Asia Minor country called Kasaria, moved around Europe just as much as any other group. That's what people do. It appears that because they held to their adopted religion, those Kasars, or Ashkenazi Jews, who immigrated to other countries became identified with a migration of Levantine Jews known as the diaspora. Such misidentifications are common in human history. Presumably some of the diaspora colonies ended up in Asia Minor, confusing things further.
There are Jews who are as black-skinned as anyone. These are called Falashas. The state of Israel officially(but probably wrongly)recognizes these as the lost tribe of Dan. There are lighter-skinned Jews whose lineage does trace back to the Levant. These are called Sephardic Jews. There is little familial relation between Sephardic and European Jews or the secular "Jews" who descended from them. Sammy Davis Jr. converted to Judaism and so was a Jew; so did Bob Dylan. Milton Berle was Sephardic. He married a European or Ashkenazi Jewess, much to the distress of his racially prideful family.
...So, when I say that Israeli agents are working in high offices of the U.S. government to finance a world wide bankers' empire with resources stolen from the American People, it doesn't mean Jews are bad. I'm not even referring to Jews but to very influential psychotics of any stripe, well dressed savages who hold other human beings in the utmost disdain. What I'm saying, and what I believe can be supported quite easily, is that high class, large scale, systematic thievery is bad. Remember, these Israelis in the U.S. government could do nothing without the help of non-Israelis in the same government.
It's perfectly okay to be Jewish or to think that one is Jewish. What's not okay is hurting people and stealing their property. It's okay and understandable for a nation to want its own state, but it's not okay to clear land for that state by murdering the people who are already there. Yes, the Bible says David did it, but that is little consolation when your house is bulldozed and your children tortured to death before your eyes. David was a very bad man. Don't be like him.
I was raised in Kansas by Protestants -- Nazarenes and Baptists. I used to play on my grandfather's living room floor while he watched TV news coverage of Israeli wars. I listened with childlike openness while he told me in the most direct terms that the State of Israel was God's favorite country, and that's why it wins wars, and if the U.S. didn't always side with Israel, then God would turn on the U.S., destroying it. I no longer believe that. I now think it may actually be the opposite.

I completely agree with all aspects of what you said. Thank you. Zionist arguments make no sense and i don't understand why people listen to and believe them. I think a lot of people who do are sympathetic due to the Holocaust, but as you said, it has NOTHING to do with the Palestinians! And nothing to do with any present day matter, unless neo-Nazi's have an uprising, then it'll be relevant. I don't understand how a human can make others suffer in the same way that they suffered before.
