  • It's thermoformed plastic. Think of it like a flat sheet of plastic formed into the kayak shape.

  • I just bought a kayak made of this and am surprised this hammer didn't do damage; I got a 12" scratch on the hull from a rock getting in beside a boat ramp this past Saturday. I was not a happy paddler. ~ :- (
