@adamy10 Davis is okay, like Winslow, he would benefit if he were in a more pass happy offense. Shockey, Cooley, Clark, and Daniels are clearly worse than him. Witten is still more consistent (probably because the Cowboys have a better offense than the Bucs and Niners) but both of them still have a long way to go to be in the same class as Gonzalez and Gates in terms of career accomplishment

@icefrappe Davis is a speed guy. This guy is completely right and just because there are alot of better overall players, doesn't mean vernon is any less good. My boi Eli a great QB but some ppl don't even consider him top 10.

@Bboy283 davis is good but still no 1000 yards season. i know his qb stinks and he's in a run first offense, but his the #1 receiver on the team. i still rank gates, witten, and clark (if healthy) over him and winslow can thrive with the right offense.

antonio gates and tony gonzalez have been doing it year in year out and you're gonna crown vernon davis after a good half season?
i would take winslow, dallas clark, jason witten, chris cooley, jeremy shockey, and even owen daniels over davis.
these guys have a proven track record while davis could be just a flash in the pan.
