You're 100% right. I haved lived in Panana and the Dominican Republic and both countries have gun laws similar to the U.S., even though this never gets media attention here.And never, ever do politicians in those countries talk about taking away gun rights like they do here. It just isn't discussed. And ironically, the gun laws of those countries are just basic laws, they're not apart of the Constitution, yet no one discusses repealing them when crime fighting debates come up.

The "mental stability" requirement, if it's ever put in place, will be abused as evidenced by Biden's comments, just because the guy who asked the question thought differently than Biden, Biden had the nerve to consider him mentally unstable.
And if I'm not mistaken, what Biden did was illegal, defamation and libel, Biden could actually get sued for what he said.

Remember - when seconds count, the police are just minutes away. If guns kill people, all of mine must be defective -I can't get them to do anything by themselves. HMMM, maybe it really is that people kill people - ya think! I am at all times armed.
