How to delete subscribers from your youtube account, I just thought I'd make an updated version, since I've been getting a lot of comments from people about there being no more Subscribers link under My Network when you go to your account settings, and a bit of confusion on how to delete closed/suspended accounts now.

Here's a basic summary of what I tell you in the vid:

● To delete closed/suspended accounts from your subscribers list:

► Go to your channel and find your subscribers box, and click on the number of subscribers you have, and go through and find the account or accounts that you want to delete from your list. Once you do that, you can either copy the username, (ex- a username like "firestorm") by highlighting it, and copying it like that, if the username doesn't cut off, but if it does cut off, (ex- a username like firestorm54...) right click on the username that you want to remove, and click copy link location, and then paste what you copied into your address bar, and then copy the persons username from there, then hover over your username at the top, click account and then go to your address book, and then click new, contact from over on the left side of the page and fill in the info there, and click save and then click the block button at the top to remove the subscriber from your subscribers list.

● To delete an open account from your subscribers list:

► Go to your channel and find your subscribers box, and click on the number of subscribers you have, and go through and find the account or accounts that you want to delete from your list. Click on the account that you want to delete, and it will bring you to the persons channel, from there, just click the block user link under the persons username if they're using the new youtube channel layout, if they are using the old layout, then the block user link will be found under their profile in the connect with box, and then the person will be removed from your subscribers list.

● To unblock those who you've removed from your subscribers list from your blocked users list, if you wish to do so, watch this vid ;)

I kinda rushed through this tutorial a bit, I had to remake it a few times, so I might have left a few things out or something, so if there are any questions that you have, please feel free to ask.

Anyway, I hope you like this tutorial and found it helpful, and if you did, please comment, rate or subscribe.

Enjoy.

  • Is there a way to remove the subscribers without "Blocking" them. I've just hit 4k subscribers and I want to "reset" my subscribers so that the people who actually watch my videos are subscribed, and the ones who are "Closed accounts, last log in 4 months" are gone.

  • Thank you this was really helpful.

  • there is no "see all" on subscribers part. there used to be. where did it go?

  • @bumtaksi

You have no place in society.

  • @shitflinger

I've never seen a YouTube layout anything like this and I've never seen any options to change my layout.

  • You have an Angelique voice and Thank you so much...

  • @johncrab67 Ha ha! ;-)

  • Ah! So that's how you remove the lurkers and spies, I mean unwanted "subscribers" from our channel. Well done. Of course it's quite annoying that YouTube has overlooked such an important detail, as what should be a simple task. We should be able to select subscribers directly from our subscriber list, click REMOVE and be done with it. But that isn't your fault, and thanks again for explaining the answer.

  • Thank you so much... I've been wanting to get rid of 'shock of god' forever.

  • **UPDATE**

now when going to your channel, change it back to "old" or "classic" veiw to see your subscriber box, then after clicking "see all" you can now hover your mouse over the user name click "remove".
