killifish tank in day

trying to sneak up slowly and catch the killifish playing, but they saw me and all dissappear :( . One day , i will catch them all.

there are 14 killies , all go ninja as soon as they see me.

I know killies jump. but somehow my killies just dont, they rush under the riccia island floating on top , instead of going in the corners .

I know i am playing russian roulette, so far, i am good :)

@robotron5000 yup. Right now , as i look back from my chair., I see all of them playing. but if i get up or go near, all of them vanish in the plants :). think they will never get used to me near them.

newman, do you think I should carpet the tank with something? I have a idea of getting flat slates/stones and trying the riccia (floating on tank) to give some carpet like feeling. any ideas you can think of?

I know how you feel, dude. my swordtails in the 40 gal are the same way. theyre sooo prone to being spooked.
