I Married Joan S1-25 "Model" 4/1/1953

"Model" Director: Marc Daniels. In a powerplay with Brad, Joan insists that she can get a meaningful job. All she seems able to land is a "stock girl" position at Armand's dress salon. The wonderful Shirley Mitchell plays her co-worker. The actor playing Armand must have had a specialty in creating dresses on the models in front of your eyes, and that's just what Armand does: very 1950s haute couture! Joan tells Brad she got a job as a dress designer. Of course, Brad visits the salon. Joan and Shirley tie up Armand with a corset and Joan proceeds to copy Armand's instant-dress-designing-shtick. Naturally, Joan runs amuck creating the most ridiculous fashions. NOT haute couture for ANY era!
