  • Seriously, some chops were high enough for a smash. This rally is not spectacular for me, because they are both just waiting for the opponents failure. At the German Open in Berlin, in a match between two defenders, the umpire had to count how many times the ball went over the net and if the retunring player didn't attack after the tenth ball, the opponents got the point. It was really boring.. I don't have anything against defenders, I love to watch Joo Se Hyuk playing, but this?! Come on!!!

  • @gravedigger02 What you saw in Berlin is called the "expedite system", which comes into play when a game has gone on for 10 minutes - quite rare these days, even between two defenders. Check out my vid "just get the ball back on the table" for a funny example

  • WHY DONT SHE JUST Make a Short ?

  • @levinchau123

The defender is very quick and would reach short balls easily. If the drop shots are a little high, she would also be able to attack them.

  • @HellMaster548

On the contrary - defending means exposing oneself to the opponent's attacks, there's nothing "cowardly" about it. It's a good thing that there are still defenders in the world class, it leads to more diverse and often spectacular rallies.

  • this is why I'd only let my gf play with MY balls

  • I was attracted by the title of this video, but the slow pace and the lack of variation make it look like they are merely practicing partners...

  • @gravedigger02 Maybe they're just going for a Guinness record. Hehe. Both players looked like they were prolonging the rally purposely.

  • I wanted the Asian to win. But then realised they were both Asian

  • The rally is long, but not very spectacular. There were plenty of balls that were high enough for the Korean to topspin-smash back, but instead decided to chop them back.

  • Her in the Red is like a ninja!

  • Thats a weird way of making me a food..

  • So this is a real sport? Jesus
