Driving home from a cruise in. 1932 Ford 3 Window Fiberglass Coupe. Bored .030 454 Chevy. Yeah I know, a Chevy in a Ford just ain't right but I love big block Chevies but also love the look of an old Ford. It has a Ford 9" with spool which I want to switch out to a posi unit this winter, 4 wheel disc brakes, rack & pinon steering, 4 bar with coil over suspension, Edelbrock carbs, GMC 671 blower with Weiand drive and a Turbo 400 trans. It's always driven and never trailered. It even has a trailer hitch on the back. Lots of road chips and nicks but it was bought to be enjoyed and driven, it even has air conditioning and a CD player for added creature comforts.
Was a lifelong dream to own one just like the models I used to build when I was a wee lad but never in my wildest dreams ever thought I'd actually own one. At 57 I still can't help but have a big grin while cruising down the road, especially when pulling up beside some young fella in one of the newer imports at a redlight. Can almost hear them thinking when seeing all motor setting beside them... Holy Sh%$ ....... They can sure get gobs of HP and great 1/4 mile times from new technology but it's hard to beat ground pounding old school horsepower that rattles the windows when idling thru town.
Where on the blower did you hook up the boost gauge. I have a BDS 871 and I want to mount a boost gauge. Thanks for your help.

This motor was built more for street and it's using a DYERS adapter plate sitting on top of an Eldebrock Strip Dominator intake. A older fella visiting me took one look at the setup and said I haven't seen one of those in a long time but he said he used one long ago on a car he built. It really works very good for street use and all cylinders get even fuel even while cruising around on just the front 4 barrel. Runs very smooth and very streetable.

@Topstrap The boost gauge is plumbed directly into the small riser on top of the Dominator intake and under the flat plate the supercharger is bolted to. The pop offs are also threaded into the bottom of the flat plate. I had never seen a setup like this before and questioned the builder about it and he said don't worry that it'll surprise me and for the street I'll never notice it's not on a regular blower intake. So far I'm more than happy with the way it runs.

@sprenky72
Not really sure, I've never had it on a dyno and don't race it. From looking at others on the net and what the motor has done to it most everyone kinda agrees on between 600 and a bit over 700HP. I just know it's way more than enough to make ya lightheaded when you open it up. Long ago I used to have a 70 Chevelle with a JEGS big block and a tunnelram with 4:88 gears and it wasn't even close to the feeling this one gives me. Sorry I can't be more exact.
