people it is all about moderation. A beer or glass of wine with food on weekends is not going to kill anybody but when people replace h20 for liquor...that is a big problem. And there are many reasons why livers go bad. In most of the world it is all due to hepatitis.

Good luck to you. My father will find out next week if he is eligible for a transplant. He has advanced Primary Billary Cirrohsis and two small tumours in his liver.

I'm 34 and had a Liver transplant due to an auto immune disease called PBC. Alcohol is very rarely the reason. But reducing your intake of drink will certainly make you feel and look better.
