If you're standing at an intersection and see a vehicle speeding through, do you jump out in front of it and get killed because you have the "right of way"? Yes the person driving the vehicle was in the wrong according to law, but is it worth dying or risking injury??? common sense people, isn't common enough these days.

@Relativisticism. pedestrians only have the right of way in california and new york last i knew. but adams issuse is that some pedestrians are completely unaware of cars on the road and use their right of way as an entitlement and that everyone should just watch out for them regardless of what they do. the same reason i hate these jagoff cyclists that insist on riding in the street even though they cant seem to ride over 15 mph

I thought people walking have the right of way because people vs cars, cars win so people need to be watched for. I don't get adams rant on this one other than him being self centered that people walking across the street are getting in his way of driving.
