Uh huh! Pretty damned good actually. At first, I'm not liking 2 tenors (btw Mr. Cresdee, Harlem Notcturne is a tenor lead) sitting back and letting a guitar handle the sizzle but this was a cool cover. Hats off to you!
Superb Sax Impro (with a hint of Turkish Delight?).
I have always considered that Earle Hagan's Harlem Nocturne should be confined to Alto Sax Lead, however the guitar lead on this version is a great rendition with just enough added improvisation not to ruin the whole feel of this bluesy classic. Hats off to the backing players as well.
Sounds great!
