Old Shasta

Old Shasta located a few miles up the hill from Redding, CA on hwy 299 was at one time the county seat for Shasta County before it was moved to Redding. This slide show movie is a quick tour of the historic town and court house museum. I apologies for the blurriness of some of the photos I am constantly learning how to properly use a camera. These photos were taken in July of 2006 before the renovation of the historic park. New placards and side walk have been installed to give you more information on the buildings and make it easier to get around town.
I hope you enjoy this quick look at one of my favorite towns in Northern California. Enjoy the adventure of life.
