Brad Lowery of South Dakota State University attempted to become the first person to break the 4:00 barrier on South Dakota soil. It was a windy day at Howard Wood Dakota Relays in 2005. His official time was 4:01.67.
dang when he took off barrelin for the first 220 of the last lap, i thot he had it kuz he was on 57 or 58 sec. pace but i guess he couldnt hold it. good try though.
