Contest opens August 2, 2009 and will close on August 29 at 11:59pm MST. In order to enter the contest you must be subscribed to http://www.youtube.com/user/GamerGirlsRock that's it! In order to win the Xbox 360 Elite you must post the correct answer to all four video game related question in the comments before 11:59pm MST on August 29. There will be a new video posted on each Sunday of August asking a new question (if you miss a week just go back and answer it). The morning of August 30 we will go through and take the names of everyone that answered all the questions correctly (and that are subscribed) and put those names in a hat and pick the winner and now owner of a brand new Xbox 360 Elite! I will post a video later that day announcing the winner and giving the correct answers to all four questions. i will then be sending a message to the winner and get the address they want me to send their prize to. We will even pay for the shipping of the Xbox 360 anywhere in the world (thanks to http://gamergirlsrock.ca/ ).

So I hope you enter our contest, I hope you have fun with it! You can also follow me on twitter at http://twitter.com/GamerGirlsRock for more updates on the contest and maybe even a hint or two.

*NOTE* Personally I'd prefer if people didn't look up answers but I can't control or monitor if people do so I have not put any rules against it. You can comment your answer as many times as you like, it will only be counted once. If you write down multiple answers I will only count your last answer.

  • I know, but I also know how much it sucks not being able to afford a new system so I'm hoping by giving it away I can help someone like me :)

That is more important to me than getting a PS3.

    Cathode Ray Tube Amusements Device

panteted on 25/01/1947 and issued on 14/12/1948 and was created by Thomas T. Goldsmith Jr. It described using eight vacuum tubes to simulate a missile firing at a target and contains knobs to adjust the curve and speed of the missile. Because computer graphics could not be drawn electronically at the time, small targets were drawn on a simple overlay and placed on the screen

  • The earliest known interactive electronic game was created by Thomas T. Goldsmith Jr. and Estle Ray Mann on a cathode ray tube. The patent was filed on January 25, 1947 and issued on December 14, 1948. The game was a missile simulator inspired by radar displays from World War II. It used analog circuitry, not digital, to control the CRT beam and position a dot on the screen. Screen overlays were used for targets since graphics could not be drawn at the time.
