  • Not sure why you think it's okay for the government to give handouts to anyone. Don't think you'd find many people who are okay with handouts to haliburton, the military industrial complex, the banksters, or anyone else.

And you hit it right on the head, the US is a fascist state, but worse than the traditional sense where the state worked for the betterment of the country, now the state works only to make a few rich and powerful

  • The rationale is that the state with the lowest regulations would be chosen as the one for all the policies. Also, for legal reasons, it would be harder to dispute problems with an out of state insurer. And cheap policies, which dont cover stuff, could cost the state when people NEED treatment (i.e. emergency rooms). This is like letting the credit card companies go to a state with ZERO consumer protection and .. oh wait they do that now (Delaware).

  • Apparently, its okay for the government to handout welfare to the likes of Halliburton, Lockheed (a failed aerospace company which only functions due to taxpayer money), Goldman Sachs, MacDonalds etc.

But anything to help the ordinary American taxpayer is "socialism". Most US tax-dollars go into private corporations, much like a fascist state.

  • Enforcing the true meaning of the commerce clause would break this government granted monopoly.

Why am I denied the right to buy health insurance from whatever state I want?

  • I am a firm believer in states rights but the constitution deals with this.

Commerce Clause states: "To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes"

Regulate here means to keep regular. States shouldn't be allowed to put up trade walls between them. What other industry has trade walls between states? Health Care Industry has a monopoly where they prevent competition.

  • kill the bill, I supported the weak crap, now its total shit, you pass this everyone must get private care, and health insurance companies can charge any amount they want. I know the why. but how fucking hard is it to say you pay premiums and get medicare coverage at any age, I only ask how much it would cost me, no taxes no mandates. just straight off my pay check if I want it "option" even make it for profit and use it to expand medicare coverage. hey gov epic fail you suck dick me=pissed lib

  • What Senator Sanders doesn't understand is that politics is a dirty game. If the tables were turned, the democrats would've done the same thing. Besides, Sanders is an admitted Socialist...why would we want any amendment of his coming forward? I was frankly hoping the old bastard was going to have a heart attack during his temper tantrum on the senate floor today.

The Democrats need to work on a bill that is good for all...I don't blame the Republicans for using the tactics that they use.

  • k i c k t h e m a l l o u t . c o m

  • so basically your against states rights.

You must be an anarchist then, and dont belong in the US.

Go find a tribe that still supports that style of living.

In america we have states rights and most of us like it that way.

Each states citizens get to determine what insurance companies are allowed to get away with, just like some states have their own pollution standards amongst other things.

So screw your cross state idea.

  • Government is a beuracratic monster.
