Never heard before and just discovered very-poor-sound bootleg recording of "Round the Edges" at the Kings Head Theatre Pub, Islington, London UK in 1974.
'The Blimps', or 'Ernie Blimp and the Blimpsoles', took up a residency at the Kings Head, the band being initiated by Taffy Davies (keyboard); Keef Touble (vocals/zob stick); Ken Butcher (sax); Fred Pitts (guitar); Andy McDonald (sax); Jim Pitts (vocals/guitar) and John Randall (drums).
'The Blimps' were set-up after a partial split within 'Brett Marvin and the Thunderbolts', whose line-up had then become Mick Hodgkinson (aka Johnny Average - bass/vocals); Graham Hine (guitar/vocals); Colin Williams (guitar) and Smoke Abingdon (guitar).
Later the 'Bretts' reformed with its earlier line-up after a 'Blimps' and 'Brett Marvin' joint gig at the 100 club, booked by Ron Watts.

"Round the Edges" is a Keef Trouble composition.
