Слов нет - это круто поставлен танец Половчанок в опере Бородина на сцене оперы в Лос Анджелесе! Хотя московские постановки времен СССР были не хуже уж точно!

@HotSo0P But you have to understand that it's a ballet. It's supposed to be smooth, graceful, and controlled. But I do understand your point of view.

To controlled in some spots... some moves are meant to be reckless and unbalanced, instead of smooth and controlled.

I do see a decent LA production in this with some inspired strutting and twirling, but I'm afraid the real, 'Asian' spirit of the Caucasus, the proud border region of fiercely independend peoples is missing.
To see how it's done, watch the movie 'Anna Pavlova', or aternatively look up a Russian rendition by Bolshoy or Mariinsky ballets.

Are all your dancers Caucasian?

Didn't Fokine lead the Ballet Russe after Diaghilev?

Awesome! One of my very favorite ballets! Wonderful job in maintaining the authenticity of the original. Thank you for bringing your Russian repertoire to new audiences
