"Echoes: The Best Of Pink Floyd" is a compilation album by Pink Floyd. It was released by EMI Records in the United Kingdom on 5 November 2001 and the following day in the United States through Capitol Records. It debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart on 24 November 2001, with sales of 214,650 copies. It remained on the chart for 26 weeks. The album was certified Gold, Platinum and Double Platinum on 6 December 2001 in the US by the RIAA. It was certified Triple Platinum in the US on 8 January 2002, and Quadruple platinum on 10 September 2007.

All the tracks on the albums "The Dark Side of the Moon", "Wish you Were Here", and "The Wall" are greatest hits and should always be played together. It should be greatest hits from all there other albums that were not as popular

This REALLY needed to be a quadruple "album". SO many other great songs they could have added for a Best Of package. Me, I miss Run Like Hell. Always thought it would be a good 'book end'. Not sure what the reason was to keep it at 2 CDs only. $#@ bean counters!

En mi opinion no se puede hacer un best of de pink floyd. Nunca estaria completo. Aqui quedaron fuera canciones buenisimas. No veo ninguna del Ummagumma ni del More. El disco es muy bueno pero yo hubiera preferido que el orden de las canciones hubiera sido diferente, que las acomodaran por etapas (la etapa psicodelica, su epoca experimental, la etapa espacial y sinfonica, la etapa comercial y la ultima sin roger waters).
