Wow, beautiful layout.. Looks like a real railway. :P

superb awesome really beautiful and looks original. u can automate the track changer based on the timing. also for the empty carriage try making a crane and place goods on that using it. make the crane remote controlled. really beautiful .

Thanks for producing this excellent video. It shows old timers and newcomers alike what can be done with skill and dedication. What is the overall size of your layout? I'll be coming back -- and sending friends to see what can be done in G scale.

Hey like the unitah engin :) utah is pretty rich in train history and such :) always so good to live here isnt it?
Always happy to have visitors although it isn't running at the moment due to a need for some trackwork.

beautiful foliage all around the layout - was it there when you added the railroad or did you bring it in after the rails were set?

A lot of it was there already including the pond and waterfall although I rebuilt the waterfall to suit the railroad and trestle. I also added the stone wall alongside the tracks to suit the railroad. It was all done pretty-much the way a prototype railroad would build their tracks.

It was a gift from my young grandchildren, so it was very appropriate. However, there was a company with this name, so the car is actually prototypical.

It can go faster but the speed is set to look realistic. This type of locomotive moved pretty slowly, especially up heavy grades like mine. Cost is just the small amount of electricity to charge the battery.
