I grew up in Baltimore and I was picked on mercilessly for being light skinned and for the way I talked. All of my classmates made me feel like an outcast for not wearing the right clothes or listening to the right music. When I moved to a predominantly white area the problem was repeated. I could not identify with my white classmates and I still felt like an outcast amongst blacks. I felt terribly alone.

The movie is slated for a January 2013 release. I found this website via this film's Facebook page and learned that MPI Media Corp (the company that bought the rights to distribute the film) is becoming an official theatrical distribution corp and has like 7 movies to hit the big screen in early 2013, YTTS being one of them. We'll just have to be patient and hope this film was worth the wait.

I loved it really sad though and this is defiantly a independent movie so those types are usually really slow and all!

I went and saw this film yesterday. I so badly wanted to see it and now i'm disappointed. Except for the scenes that almost made my heart stop, this film barely made any sense at all. I had to force myself to watch it all the way to the end because it was so dam boring. I want 96 minutes of my life back as well as every cent i wasted on seeing this movie.
