This is my new survival level, DRTEETH. The compactor's patterns are randomly generated, so it's a little bit different each time you play. It gets very difficult towards the end as you can see here.

  • Well, the patterns are random but it's a little predictable! Like, the first time you see three teeth crunch down at once? You can always predict that three teeth are going to come down three more times, in a row, right after that. So, it helps to memorize the patterns a little.

    i tried to make a level similar to this but i cant do it :(

    to complex lol and when i did make it something went wrong. e.g a timer or a switch i made at the top of the level broke. so i go to fix that and something else goes wrong... i dont know why but this always happens to me and i dont know is its something that im doing. Hehe

    oh well. you can only get better i suppose

  • the level's copyable if you want to check out the nuts and bolts behind it. but, yeah - it can be tedious when stuff keeps breaking! On my first level, I was like just touching up the ending, when I went back to playtest and found the whole beginning of the level had collapsed. I had to redo the whole beginning from scratch!!!!

  • Its a pretty simple randomizer - I've got about eight switches on a circle which is connected to a motor bolt. The motor bolt is connected with "speed" setting to a proximity bolt, so that it acts a little different each time depending on how the player moves.

    The level's copyable, so if you want to see how it works, you can just copy it!

    To keep it short:

    Solid piece of work, man! looks great! It's quite strange to see my initial idea that lies behind sackcrush 300 as a full level. Originally, I wanted to create a huge mouth with theeth trying to crush sackboy, with fruits and vegetables dropping in from time to time.

    As said, great work :) gotta play it tonight.
