No it wasn't. In fact, it was rather succesful. It ran 5 years, 95 episodes, the two main characters were played by good actors, improving the quality, all four versions of the theme were good , viewing figures only drooped at the beginning of series three, the end of series four, and parts of series five, it was created by a good TV writer and the final series has just been released on DVD. This is probably one of the only sci fi programs worth watching, apart from the original Dr. Whos.

well.. technically, yes... but that still doesn't change the fact that a string of accurate facts beats the everliving daylights out of "This show was really gay"... which, while an opinion, offers no rhyme, or reason, or basis for this opinion.. while SamBeckett94 offers his opinion and several supportign facts for it. So, thusly, I stand by it: Pwned :3
And the show was awesome :D

@FattrollysChannel In a perfect world it would be because you could keep them the same age forever, but if you want to get a live action movie off the ground that's just not going to work man as much as it sucks to say that.

@RonaldJoseCarlos There is only two people to play Al and Sam and that is Dean Stockwell and Scott Bakula. No doubt about it!!!
-
@TheJyscalator He was the guy who played Doc Brown in the Back to the Future movie series and in the toon version of the series.
-
@Costanza632 Yeah. To most QL fans Scott B and Dean Stockwell wouldbe the first and last actors for those characters, but I would like to see a QL movie starring Nick Cage as Sam and John Travola as Al.

-
@Costanza632 Well it is confirmed by Scott B that they are making a movie, YEAH. But he and Dean wont be in it...

@RonaldJoseCarlos i knew that i wasnt the only one who thought that aaron eckhart would be perfect for sam beckett, i also wouldnt mind danny devito playing as al. the role kind of suits him.
Can anybody tell me where the location of that building is that was suppose to be the location for Quantum Leap's headquarters or if it has a name? Why?I think I remember seeing it in another t.v. series when I was a kid, a t.v. series called Buck Rogers if I remember right?

I am longing for a Quantum Leap movie..Aaron Eckhart, Christian Bale, and Edward Norton are three solid candidates for Sam Beckett and Michael Keaton or Kevin Spacey as Al! Does anyone else see this being awesome? Expand Gushie's role and cast Philip Seymour Hoffman! Feedback please!
What do all the other QL fans think?

Honestly, if there was going to be a Quantum Leap movie. I'd rather see Scottie B and Dean Stockwell playing those characters. Mainly because they were awesome, i don't think i could take an interpretation from someone else. If it was to be someone else... John Cusack as Sam and Christopher Lloyd as Al.

John Cusack would be almost perfect, I don't know who Cristopher Lloyd is though.

Christopher Lloyd..He played Doc Brown in Back to the Future or Judge Doom in who framed Roger Rabbit..
