Bipanah, I am Indian (now living in a Western country) and grew up in Bombay. I find your videos very engaging. Since I speak Bengali, Hindi, studied Marathi at school and have some exposure to Gujarati, I am already able to follow Nepali to quite an extent after just 3 of your videos ! I should tell you that I had dal bhat nearly every day of my life while growing up and I never tired of it ! Even as I write I am salivating - heh heh.

@Bipanah its nt "moto audaina"..its mottaudaina. "moto audaina"="to me fat has nt come". tq :P

Namaste Bipanah!!
Good Post and your story :).Malai yo post Herera Khushi Laagyo. Felt very Humbled and respected.
Just a quick one if i may. I think if you were in the right track but say the last two words together- Than that would make sense.
'Jati Bhat Kahye Pani (Motto + Aaudaina) = ''Mottaudaina'' pronounce - Mo-tau-daina.
Dhanyabad!! X D

@Bipanah well "malai moto aayo"-one would know what he/she means if you look chubbier than last week :)) but its not the correct grammer.But at the first glance it would be a lil confusing.So "moto hunu/nahunu".And if u refer yourself then it should be"....pani moto hudina". "hudaina" is actually for 2/3 person.
Ich freue mich dich so helfen zu dürfen.
I am english speaking and These videos are great ! i am looking forward to nepali language lesson 4. I have been trying to learn nepali and have been struggling with the sentence structure and you have helped make it clear. So keep up the good work and keep teaching. dhanyaabaad. I also enjoy your stories woven throughout the video.

'jati bhat khaye pani moto hudaina' ist eigentlich korrekt. Oder jati bhat khaye pani bhudi/pet audaina. audaina-nicht kommen,hudaina-nicht werden. Ich würde raten, jati und tyati mit je und desto zu vergleichen.Macht das ganze viel einfacher.Sonst ist es wunderbar dich beim nepali sprechen zu hören.weiter so:D

@Kaskinepal - ok thanks a lot for the correction (ich schreib auf englisch damit es jeder versteht). So it means that in this case it would be correct to say "moto hudaina" instead of "moto audaina". I am wondering: If you hear someone say: "Malai moto aayo" (To me fat has come) - would you still understand what I mean, but it sounds odd? Or would you have difficulties even grasping my meaning?
... I am always very interested in the fine connotations of language. Will be lovely if u can answer

@Kaskinepal - Oh yes - regarding a discussion of
relative pronouns (jati (howmuchever) - jaha (whereever) - jo (whoever) - jasto (however) - etc)
and their respective demonstrative pronouns (yati / tyati (that / this much) - yaha / tyaha (here / there) - yo / tyo (this one / that one) - yasto / tyasto (like this / like that) - etc.) I might do this later, when I feel like. But I love the very systematic and regular structure the Nepali language show in this area. Pure logic!

" Timile malai kina bhanenau ta, ma timilai kamsekam Pizza ra sandwich lyaidinthe!- means- Why did not you let me know, i could bring you at least a pizza and a sandwich! - by the way, your vedio is great!
Non-nepali speakers are greatly encouraged to watch these vedios who want to learn Nepali.
