Reuters (Chicago) reports the following news about Lithium Ion Batteries. This will be a big boon for the RC Modelers too!
Let's hope the manufacturers decide to do it.
Here is the link to read more about it at Reuters

  • Too much pitch or too little pitch will do that. Also make sure blades are on the right way. Is motor running up to full speed?

  • did u just show us the FINGER at the end ???lol

  • Of course not. People only see what they want to see. LOL.

  • is the discharge quicker? or is it the same run time?

  • It can discharge quicker too, so it will be a good one.

  • so with that charger you would need 50a input on 110v mains, for a 3s lipo, even 25a on british 220v mains seems a bit much, what sort of plug would you need for that charger?

  • i was just wondering where you got that big heli hanging on the wall behind you

  • /watch?v=-DcpANRFrI4&feature=related

  • I hope it works!

  • is it LiFePO4 battery?

  • 3:18 the bird!

  • so boring!!!

  • you sound too much like gordon b;oyer...I will be cautious...

  • So, any update on this Dave? With all the hybrid and electric cars out there you'd figure the car manufacturers would be jumping all over this new technology. There must be some kind of engineering and/or manufacturing obstacle for them to not be rolling out like hot cakes.

  • aboos1993, it's possible, though. It depends on how intelligent the chargers charging this thing are, and what kind of ion implantation sheet (mostly metal ion, like magnanese or cobalt ions, and couple other things that goes in the making of the battery. And, you got it right on, the battery resistance's also important too.
