The tone of singing like in the jingle's for the Soft&Dri and Del Monte commercials were common into the early 80s. For some reason they used to make me emotional when I was a toddler. I'm 35 years old and they still do but for a different reason. Damn nostalgia! (wiping my tears)

Heh heh...I remember the Tin Man heart healthy commercial like it was yesterday..funny that it was followed by a KFC ad ;) (makes me wish it were a few hours earlier so I could go get some - can't resist Original Recipe..)
