  • How can people live in Canada when it is so cold? I grew up in the Chicago area and sometimes it felt like living in the arctic. You felt like you were fighting for your life in the snow and the cold.....yet, it was just another day? It must be worse in Canada...how can you take it?

  • @JetMechMA Winters have actually gotten somewhat warmer, at least where I'm living. Here in Eastern Canada, it's rare to see temperatures dip below -20C. In central Canada, it's a different story though. We might hit -20 with the windchill a few times, but it never lasts.

  • Great video! The 1st 2 locomotives were really nice! What did the 3rd GP9 locomotive say on the front? I think I saw the letter P on the front!

  • I think the front says "TP", but I'll have to take a look the next I see the unit.

  • What does "TP" stand for?

  • The engine left the city a few days ago, but it actually said "4P" on it...I have no idea what it means.

JM: Glad to hear it. All the better. This video is stunning, by the way. Thanks again.

  • Loco EMD GP9-RM nb.4138 is awesome! :) Great video.

  • 8867 is actually one of the SD70ACes purchased by CN, marked as an M-2.

  • Awesome vid!!! Also, did you notice how every time a white colored car came by,the camera adjusted and dimmed?

  • It says "4R illinois" ,

this unit was used in a movie shoot (cant remember what one) and just never had the CN put back on
