I'd say you are cutting some vowels, for example "apaixonado" is read with the I, not "apaxonado", but otherwise, keep up the good work ;)

Do "tu" and "você" mean the same thing? Can you use them interchangably?

@MrBloc7 Hi - They both mean 'you' however tu is more informal and você polite. In Portugal they use tu more often although if you are talking to someone older or a respected/business type person you might use você. The verb changes depending on which you use so for example the verb 'estar' would be ' tu estás' (meaning 'you are') but você está for the more polite form of 'you are'. It's often a case of listening to how other people are referring to each other in the situation.
