That is my homemade wood stove, made of various metal wastes:
The furnace itself is an old 1 gallon gasoline can. I added a door and a vent on the front.
A 3 1/2" tin can is tied to the furnace. Over that can goes the 4 1/4" chimney made of tin cans. The very top section is an old section of 4" duct that happens to fit on the top can. The chimney hat is another tin can, with hig holes cut into it so it has the appearance (and the efficiency, more or less) of a chimney hat.
Now the stove has been stored for a couple of months. I will mount it again in late December or early January, during Xmas holidays. I didn't think to make a daytimevideo of the stove, so I only have 3 or 4 videos of it in action. I may post the others, but oral explanations are kinda awkward LOL.
I also plan to make a v2.0 stove with a new gasoline can. I also got a 18" section of flexible metal duct, so the new stove will likely perform much better. A controlable air inlet should help as well. But overall, even my current version works really well! I can boil a cup of water in 2 minutes with a midly hot fire and a perfect airdraft.
