bless the good folk of the glen,, they are the true believers of the banshee. and long may it reign.... country folk have their own understanding and that MUST be appreciated and accepted, I am a descendant and I will stand by my family s stories as much as I can asprire to be true,,,,,which in fact is 99.9%. xx

The academic is right in one way. There are many dimensions to this existance and without a sense of mystery, life would be meaningless and sterile. However, once you actually witness a miraculous event you can't explain, you are forever opened/changed. I've not heard a banshee but, I have encountered the "fairy/spirit/angelic world" and it opens your eyes to an expanded quality of life. Eventually, whether anyone believes or accepts your experience becomes of no concern whatsoever.
