St. Mary's County 911 Communications (Fireboard) alerted the Assignment for the Automatic Fire Alarm sounding. After the initial units marked up responding Fireboard received multiple calls throughout the area advising the house was fully involved and some even reporting hearing an explosion. The assignment was upgraded to the Working Fire assignment and extra units were requested by the fire chief due to the House close proximity to other residences.

This Fire is still under investigation the earlier fire at this house was started when a Child was playing with a lighter in an upstairs bedroom. 1 Fire investigator and 1 Fire Fighter Were Transported To The Hospital During the 2nd Incident.

  • so this is the house from both videos it burned twice?

  • One thing the OIC failed to do is pull crews away the structure, these new buildings fail. These new buildings when fully invoked are best fought from a distance.

  • @ryanlovestosnowboard there would be nothing to save with that much fire count out an interior attack anyways

  • same house on fire with 9 hrs. yeah def suspicious.

  • Wow...arson in a house that a kid originally lit up? What's up with that? Sad for the homeowners - unless of course they were the ones who re-lit it.

  • hey they find out where the rekindle was?
