UN Fact-Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict (Richard Goldstone)

United Nations, Geneva, 29 September 2009 - The Human Rights Council discussed on 29 September the report of the Fact-Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict, hearing a presentation by the head of the Mission, Richard Goldstone, statements by Israel and Palestine as concerned countries, and then holding an interactive dialogue with the Mission.

Following that presentation, Richard Goldstone and other members of the UN Fact-Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict holded a press conference.

Israel has never been shy of bombing UN medical storage,UN schools,UN hospitals,refugee camps full of women and children using White Phosphorus Bombs, cluster bombs , Israeli tanks, helicopters, and jet fighters are used to drop bombs or fire missiles into the heart of Palestinian neighborhoods and refugee camps packed with women and children. Palestinians fight for survival in this Holocaust. Why is the whole world is acting as if it does not here the cry of little baby.

@SteveRichM the idf killed 1 million chickens. was hamas using them as non-human shields? what would make more sense is that israel wanted to starve the population or make gazans dependent on israelis for food. given the likelyhood of the latter, it isn't hard to imagine the idf deliberately targeting civilian populations, infrastructure and agriculture in order to create the humanitarian crisis that now exists in gaza and to make the residents dependent on israel via blockade. it's punishment.

too bad hamas took over u.n buildings and the u.n workers stated that quite clearly after the bombings took place only (suprise suprise) local u.n workers claimed no weapons or terrorist where in the building

how does one take the words of the local population under the control of a mlitant group so easily and yet isnt willing to accept that in a time of war the weaker Unscrupulous militant group would use any way of hiding from their enemy including churches (the betlehem church incident)

You are saying the IDF is ethical and moral, do you think it is moral to design tshirts of guns targeting pregnant women with a sign : 2 bullets 1 life ..? We the as the younger and older Jewish generation have an obligation to support the Goldstone report NOW and not later.

I dont care about mr Goldstone as a person but his report speaks the truth. We must act on its content and substance. Stop the occupation NOW.

Gaza never used fighter jets ,or Tanks,Gaza never used 155mm DU shells with a 900ft 3 football fields killing ratio,after calling 200,000 homes and telling people to leave ,Israel dropped 155mm shells on people with no shelter, Gaza never used white phosphorous ,or cluster bombs like Israel , Gaza never fired depleted uranium into every building ,Gaza was and is blockaded by Israel for years,Gaza people are targets of a genocide of disease and poverty by Israel ! its a constant war crime !
