  • "I can change the world as well as long as I try my best" - Any grammar mistakes ?

  • @Chineseisable -- Take out "as well" and it's okay.

  • As long as you are going to the store buy me some bread.

in this case I know that he is going to the store so there is no "if" I think so. But I am Albanian and till now i have used this word like "while".

    thanks Teacher Paul

  • @MrPeace137 -- Yes, these words are interchangeable but there are still some differences. "If you are going to the store, buy me some bread," and "As long as you're going to the store, buy me some bread" are just a little different. In the second sentence, a person is already going to the store, so it's not too much trouble to buy some bread. You can use "while." -- While you are at the store, buy me some bread. I'm glad the video helped.

  • I am facing a traffic jam, as long as I get home I will check this video again. Thank you teacher. Great as usual.

  • @claudiarejaneo -- In that sentence, you would say "as soon as" instead of "as long as."
