@Kaeden728 I agree with you comment ;)
Most of the gamers use Claw grip Indeed.

@JeDiSh3eP Razer sucks. I had two, both broke in less then a year. Im having a Roccat Kone now, but i think i will go with Logitech when the kone breaks. Logitech is the best.

Razer, very nice; keep fighting the good fight

@JeDiSh3eP you got dust in the hole for the laser, that happened to my rat 7 contagion, i just blow in the hole to fix it

For "Non" games i work with a Logitech MX518 ; it simply gives the best ergonomic and working with it for 12+ hours a day is fine.
A gaming mouse is better suited for performance ; but not for working with it over a very long time / the Claw style simply isnt made to relax your hand ; but offers the most speed as your muscles are constantly ready and slighty stretched (at least not relaxed, which happens with Palm).

Well its true that you can "click" faster with a Claw Grip ; but its not that crazy big of a difference between a Palm one.
Might simply try it ; click for 10 seconds with your fingertips and then with your lay down finger ; fingertips is allways faster unless you are a "mutant" ^^
But normally a game does not require you to click a bunch of hundred times in 10 seconds ; at least thats what Hotkeys are for.

@stuffstuffa it wasn't the windows sensitivity that caused it
the device itself was faulty
first thing i did was plug it into my media pc (running ubuntu 10) to see if it worked under different conditions
when it first started playing up, all i would need to do to fix it was unplug the mouse and plug it back in. but as you can imagine in an FPS game, thats not an ideal situation.
i had a faulty device, i'm not saying all are bad or anything. but mine quite simply the laser died

@JeDiSh3eP did you adjust windows sensitivity? Because that would cause that. Windows sensitivity changes the ratios, not the dpi, so you will skip pixels. here is a great guide on that. look for overclock cs-s-mouse-optimization-guide . The rat 7/9 is a great mouse.
i just had a lachesis.
died in under a year, cursor no longer moves. but it still clicks.
before it died. the last couple of months it would start playing up where it would either only move side to side
or up and down. it was the worst when it happened mid game.
or rather than smooth diagonal movements, it would staircase
when it worked good, it was amazing.
i wish i kept my proof of purchase
i've gone logitech now. and theres no going back.
