Journalism is practically non-existent in mainstream media today. Just five large corporations control the majority of everything most people watch, listen to, and read. In 1983 there were 50.

Media Ownership

This concentration of media has allowed the corrupt in our government and society to sell their agendas through the media and wrongly influence people with propaganda and lies. Much of the control is monetary and the source of the fraudulent money is the Federal Reserve bank. Much of the influence is political.

Media Caught Lying

The top supporters of both Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain were the exact same international banks, like Goldman Sachs, that both Obama and McCain voted to bail out on the backs of the American people. These corrupt banks are also partners with the Federal Reserve and are able to borrow money at nearly zero percent interest. The influence of this corrupt money permeates all areas of our society, including the media.

"The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media." - William Colby, former CIA Director

Do not trust anything you see in the media, always verify. Today, news, radio, films, newspapers, and even books are often twisted and distorted by corrupt money and government. There are very few left in mainstream media that can be trusted to report the unbiased facts. And sometimes when they do, they lose their jobs.

So, while this fake Public Service Announcement produced by NBC and featuring Dwight Shrute of The Office was surely intended to be taken as a joke, ironically it's probably the best advice and PSA that NBC has produced in many decades and applies to NBC themselves.

  • @homerbear46 Agnosticism is like this - I don't think there is any knowledge of God existing. Nobody on the planets knows wether or not god(s) exist(s).

Atheism is like this - I don't believe in any claims of a god, supernatural creator, higher power.

You can believe a god exists while being agnostic. That would be like this - I don't think anyone has knowledge of the existence of god(s), but I believe a powerful being/spirit (etc) created the universe/has a plan (etc).

  • ..I WOULD be embarrassed too..I'd be hiding behind clouds and shit when Christians came past, they'd have every right to mock me...I'd need to have something to compensate..maybe if I was good on the Harp.

That's an idea...maybe a better investment than Church would be harp lessons on Sunday mornings.

  • See? I'm not ashamed to admit when I'm wrong

THIS is how I see it going down.

God:-Homer u never went to Church & laughed at Christians!

Homer:- YES SIR, & I am NOW, in light of ur existence, TRULY sorry for ALL of that.

In fairness I used the time not going to Church to chill out so I could be a nicer person than most thru the week

But that's no excuse..Can I check in here now?

God, Yes, if you are really "sorry"

Homer, REALLY sorry Sir, I'm also a bit embarrassed.

    God, GOOD..go check in then.

  • @57worldwide I agree on the "technical use" of the wording buddy...but isn't that what people generally perceive as being "agnostic" though?..the old "sit on the fence" manouvre of "I'm not a know-it-all, but I'm NOT going to Church every Sunday, just incase there IS a God, when apparently, if there IS, I can "repent" my "sins" (mistakes, like not thinking church matters much) when I get to meet him"

    (my favourite)

    XD

  • @homerbear46 You don't have to believe in atheism. You could simply disbelieve theism and would be technically atheist.

  • Ron Paul 2012.

  • lol oh the irony

  • DWIGHT... Y U NO SAY FALSE.........

  • @834Reaper hahahhahahahahahaha....lmaooo

  • @Strailios Don't trust ANYONE. or believe anything...especially not in God or Atheism.
