Turn up the volume for this one. If you like it, please rate! This gentle, nostalgic piece was published in 1899 as Louis Vierne's Op.8. It was performed on March 3, 1991 by me, Eric Meece, on the now-defunct Moller organ at First Unitarian Church of San Jose, in its centennial year. Pictures of Vierne, myself, the church, and Moller organs, are followed by scenes and art from Paris in the 1890s and 1900s, which this piece and some others by Vierne strongly remind me of. Thanks to flickr and its posters!
