His first sides for ABC/Paramount in 1957 exhibited a profound country-rock synthesis, and after moving to the Carlton label, Scott hit the charts the next year with the tremulous ballad "My True Love," backed by his vocal group, the Chantones.

Bueatiful love song & I really enjoy all the songs, at least most of them that are sUng by Jack Scott. I dig his voice!!!!!!!, & I can't say this about Elvis, not that I don't enjoy many of his hits, okey?, It dosen't have to be a big hit for me to take off on listening to Jack, BELIEVE-YOU-ME.
