Exactly what i'm after!
But i realised professionals rarely do backhand smashes. They do wierd-angled forehand hits with the arm reaching over their head to hit the shuttle.
Also, they don't let the shuttle come to their racket, they go out to meet the shuttle with their racket raised. if it does come to the backhand, they tend to lift it high and to the back of the court.
I've tried lunging/stamping and at the same time-ish wildly swinging at the shuttle... kinda works :D.
