That is a very impressive project. I was part of a group doing a similar undergrad project at the University of Bristol at the same time (trailer posted as a video response). Our table was a bit more "rustic" as we concentrated on delivering more complex game mechanics, but we seem to have used an almost indentical method to track the blobs etc.

Great work , your setup looks really clean and well made , what compliant surface are you using? Your table is FTIR right?

No we are not a member of NUI group although we their experinces with FTIR have been a great help.
