"The Great Escape, directed by John Sturges, debuted in 1963 and is a movie that tells the real-life story of an attempt by Allied prisoners to escape from a real German prison camp during World War II. The film boasted an all-star cast including Steve McQueen, Richard Attenborough, James Garner, James Coburn and many more famous actors of the day. This march is from the film score written by Elmer Bernstein."
