Tax The Rich - 60 Minutes aired 10-31-2010

Ronald Reagans old budget director, David Stockman, architect of the largest tax cut in American history, is now saying all the Bush tax cuts should be eliminated, even those on the middle class. He even admits his own party has done too far wit h its anti-tax "RELIGION". He also goes on to say that we now have both parties telling us a Big Lie, when they talk about permanent tax cuts. Yes and that includes the permanent middle class tax cuts President Obama is proposing. The government cannot spend tax dollars and not pay the bills with these tax cuts.

Didi tax cuts lead to unemployment when Clinton increased them? NO it created jobs at a record pace. Did tax cuts Increase jobs when Reagan was in office? No, that's why he broke his promise to not increase taxes and then after he raised them and used the money jobs increase. dito for the first Bush! Did the exact same tax cuts for the second Bush cause jobs to grow? NO!!! It was a record cut for the rich and jobs decreased at a record pace! That is history! We don't learn from history.

These wealthiest "Americans" have stolen their wealth through shipping jobs to the poorest countries. Examples include WalMart- shirts retailing at $19.97, and the workers paid 6 cents, working 16 hours a day, 7 days a week and living in pure shit! Nike- Same situation, and Michael Moore invited the President to visit one of Nike's factories at Mikes' expense (he declined of course). These are the most vile, wicked creatures on the planet, extracting profit from the poor.

I ask this question, what should we do with the additional tax revenue? The problem here is taxes don't in themselves, solve issues of wasteful government spending or the rising cost of healthcare.

Everyone knows that republicans don't really care about the economy, and they know that tax breaks don't help it at all. They have to lower their taxes so that they'll supply more campaign money and get the bastards reelected.

We should all see it as a patroitic duty to pay our fair share of taxes. The problem is, that avoiding paying your fair share of taxes has become something to aspire to and be proud of instead.

cut farm subsidies and defense spending. No one in there right mind would dismantle the military but we could save billions cutting the private contracts. Why pay people to do the same jobs that our men and women in uniform (myself included) to do our jobs for 10 times the pay, with half the efforts and less regard for human life? Its pathetic.

since the bush tax cuts domestic (new jobs, equipment bought etc.) is way down while outsourcing is way up. trickle down economics DOES NOT WORK! the rich have, once again, fooled so many lower class people into fighting for them...brilliant! if you consider yourself fiscally conservative and yet you are for tax cuts than you are a lair! fiscally conservative my ass.

We must return to PUBLIC HUMILIATION and SHAME on the wealthy if they continue to fight us on increasing their taxes. Where is the MORAL outrage we used to have from religious communities? Class warfare is the only way to get the money we need for our schools, our infrastructure, our high speed rails and a booming economy. Let's return to a healthy shame for people like Trump and the Hiltons.
