On September 27, 2010, the old St. Joseph, Michigan Water Tower near the St. Joseph River Channel was demolished by being cut off from the legs at the base. • Why does water tower demolition have to happen?

  • I'm so used to seeing it there. I was born and lived in St. Joe for the first 20 years of my life and always looked at it and the train bridge while going past in the family boat. Its sad to see it go.
