Top 100 video game music: Pokey means business and Gigyas battle #20

A great Earthbound moment! This one is extraordinary! The first part is done with NES sound samples, so it sounds virtually identical to something you would hear on the NES. And then without warning it segues into a trashing heavy metal explosion complete with overdriven guitar and percussion. Highly recommended!

Plus i added the music that play when fighting Gigyas that comes right after, it's pretty weird but fitting.

Earthbound really pushed the SNES sound card to the limits, It has one of the greatest musics.

In all honesty, a big reason I wanna become a game designer of some sort would be to TRY to make a final boss more mind-screwy.

@imooumoo4 Oh, I suppose I can't really do anything. And even if I could, I'm just a 13 yearr-old boy from Louisiana, who is not in peak physical condition.

However, I will ask you not to insult Earth Bound. While you may dislike the story, millions of others find it to be one of the best ever created, and is generally considered to be a masterpiece of game design. Maybe it wasn't as technologically advanced as other games at the time, but try telling that to it's enormous cult following.
