Hello I'm Bryony - welcome to the Euroffice small business round-up, here are your top stories.
Following last week's plea from the industry, business secretary Vince Cable has announced plans to curb 'excessive regulation' for small and medium sized enterprises.
His proposals include the creation of a cabinet committee to drive and enforce an innovative approach to laws and regulations and a commitment to a 'one in, one out' approach to new legislation.
This comes in the same week that NatWest and RBS launch a new one-stop shop for help and advice for SMEs.
With one in three businesses preparing for growth, the new service is designed to help businesses trade their way out of the recession by offering interactive business reviews, economic reports and practical guides.
And in other news.. forget flashy company cars, laptops and mobile phones - a new study by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) claims flexible working hours are the most valuable benefit to workers.
Nearly half of all people asked said flexible working arrangements are the most important benefit offered by an employer.
Six in ten people said they would like to work for themselves in the future and a third claimed finding a company with similar values to them is also a must.
That's all from us for this week, please join us next time.
