Wow. The passion and sensitivity she brings to her music is carried into her own life - and she encourages us all to seek to explore and carry forward in our own lives. As she said when collecting an award for musician of the year (in 2003, I think) "it's up to all of us to play a part in making things better - so go and be happy". What remarkable sentiments.

Helene Grimaud is not only an amazingly talented pianist but she is also one of the best interpreters of Beethoven. She is so full of passion that it is unbelievable how she combines her emotions with her extraordinary technique. She just moves the listener not only with her performance but also with her awesome beauty and dignity. The way she communicates with the conductor and her lovely gestures are fascinating!
I adore her and nothing would make me happier than meeting her in person.
