Snake eats possum

A video of a python carpet snake eating a possum. First a few photos of a second possum trying in vain to stop the snake eating the first possum. Later the second possum limps off wounded, as is the snake.
I filmed this on my roof and while the snake was eating the possum, it falls off the roof! But the snake continues eating the whole possum!

We have pythons in Australia. Yesterday I removed a dead one from my roof, like the one in the video. On our property we have a combination of bush and rain forest, The pythons sometime come in to the house to escape the cold and look for mice etc. They usually dont bother you although i have been bitten a few times picking them up!

The Black and brown snakes, not to mention the tiger and typan, are deadly poisonous and we need to be careful with them.
