@Ahrlera, what if you didn't have the option to quit and get forced out? Vast majority of targets, if they don't quit, are eventually fired. You'd be in a much less powerful position if you start an exit plan at least, be prepared, you just never know.
I also make it a rule, never work for a small company, I learnt this early on and it has served me well, you are not as protected from this abuse as larger companies, but generally, smaller companies don't know how to treat employees.

What if the bully is the owner of a 24 person company? Quit in this job market? I can't afford it.
